Meet Tanner
YHT does not adopt dogs out of state
The first step to meet our dogs is to submit a pre-adoption application. This form can be found on our website www.yavapaihumanetrappers.org. It does not obligate you to adopt, it is simply part of our process. The Petfinder survey does not qualify you for consideration. Thanks for your understanding we know it can be confusing. You can also click on the “More About Us“ tab and scroll down to our “Adoption Application” link.
Little Tanner was born in late February up in the N AZ reservation. By the time he was rescued and brought into the YHT system, he had sustained a leg injury that causes a limp but xrays show that surgery is not warranted or beneficial. He does not let this affect his exuberance for life and he is the happiest little play machine with other dogs, cats and people. He is housebroken and loves car rides, going for walks, playing with sticks and just snuggling with his people. His cheerful disposition makes him a pleasure to be around. We ask for a secure fenced yard and someone with some at home time during the day to provide for his training. The Only way to apply for him is through the pre-adopt form found on our website, yavapaihumanetrappers.org
