*PLEASE NOTE: We do not adopt out on a first-come/first-serve basis. Applications are accepted for a puppy and then a home check is scheduled. If there are multiple applications for a puppy, after all home checks are done, then the puppy is adopted out to the home that is the best fit for that puppy.

Hi, my name is Tanker, and not only do I have good looks on my side but I have a charming personality to boot! I happen to be in a foster home with four resident foster canine siblings and I am having a BALL! Some of them are quieter but a couple even play with me! One of my best features is that I am just as happy playing with my toys all by myself as I am playing with the others. I must admit I am fond of the squeaky ones, especially the squeaky hotdog! I also like to play with the ball when it gets thrown and I will happily retrieve it.
I do great with sleeping thru the night in my crate but sometimes I will whine a little before turning in for the night.
I am working on potty training and starting to get it. I do have great examples as I run out with the other dogs and take care of business. It is still a work in progress but I am a young pup! So….I am pretty sure I can fit into just about any family that has lots of love, a good amount of patience, and time to work on training with me so I can be AMAZING!

**The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $450 which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.***
