Meet Tank
How do you spell hunk? T-A-N-K! I mean, really, just LOOK at this guy! Two-year-old Shepherd/Mastiff mix Tank is a stunning and statuesque brindle who turns heads wherever he goes.
Tank is housebroken and crate-trained and doesn’t chew on things he shouldn’t. He’s a huge fan of fetch but by far his favorite thing in life is cuddling with his humans. His foster mom says he’s the snuggliest dog she’s ever met. And at 95 pounds, that’s a whole lotta cuddle!
He’s a quick study, learning sit, come, and look at me in short order. Stairs were new to him but he’s figured that out. It appears Tank hasn’t had much experience playing with other dogs either, but with proper introductions he’s learning how to do that, too. While he can be a bit barky around new people, he warms up well. Tank would love a home with a fenced yard so he can romp around and get in a regular dose of fetch.

We love our dogs. We want happy lives for all of them and are looking for the home that provides the best fit for each dog’s individual needs. Please understand that there may be multiple families interested in this dog.
Also, please know that the breed mix listed is simply a guess. In most cases, we don’t know their background. We encourage you to base your decision on individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on our guess.
Please understand, we only adopt our animals out near the Chicagoland area. Questions? Email us at adoptions@sccrescue.org. Hope to see you become part of the SCCR family!
