Tango Terrier Mix Omaha, NE

Tango looks forward to finding a home that will keep him safe and happy, and show him the joys of being a pup. He arrived to NALA Rescue on a transport from a shelter in Arkansas and is settling into a foster home. Tango has an adorable scruffy look, with wire fur. Your guess for breed and full grown size is as good as ours as we do not know his parents.

Tango recently came into rescue after receiving a slash on his nose from a machete incident down in Arkansas. He has since had stitches and is healing tremendously. His sad past thankfully has not deterred him from being a loveable pup. Though he may take a minute to warm up, he is easy to win over with head scratches, treats, or snuggles. If you have a lap, Tango volunteers to sit in it. Tango is also a huge fan of toys, particularly squeaky toys and stuffies. He also loves a good ole chew toy.

Tango has been rocking potty training and has been catching on quickly to basic commands like "sit" and "come". He is also working on crate training and excels at leash walking. As with all puppies, he will need a home that will provide patience and consistency to help him master these skills.

Tango would likely adapt well to a home with or without another dog, or children as he has enjoyed meeting other creatures of all sorts. He respects other adult dogs in the home, and plays well with other pups on and off leash. Tango has vocal opinions on cats, but he working on redirecting. Any potential adopters with feline residents will want to continue proper introductions.
