She loves toys and is starting to open up. She gets the zoomies when she is outside. Loves her food and is very lovable. She’s good with other animals too.

This sweet girl was pulled from a Connecticut municipality

We suspect her to be between 1 and 2 years old

Upon our initial evaluation of this cutie, there were a few things that raised some concerns. For instance, she couldn’t see food when we put it right in front of her face, she walked a little funny, a little unbalanced and stretched her legs out behind her in a strange fashion. She began walking in circles when she went to her initial foster home, she was giving off signals of extreme fear, urinating when scared etc.

One of our trusted veterinarians completed a full work up on her yesterday. Come to find out after some vision tests, she seems to be blind! The doctor explained it like this… Her eyeballs work, but the brain is not sending signals to the eyes, telling them to see. This sweet girl, whatever she has been through in this life, is scared and for good reason, she can’t see! Knowing this, and knowing that she was at the shelter, she didn’t know, explained so much…


Right now, one thing we know for certain is that she cannot see, despite this, she is the sweetest thing! She is doing well at her foster home and has really come out of her shell. She will need a home with no young children or other animals at this time
