Tali German Shepherd Dog Mix Jefferson City, MO

Tali is a very sweet GSD mix. She is about 5 years old and around 60 pounds. She knows basic obedience such as sit, down, stay, shake and spin. She is also crate trained. She loves to be around people of all ages. She likes to sit on the couch with her people, have all of her toys with her and get belly rubs. She is such a silly girl. She likes to play a slow game of fetch and loves to play tug with her rope. She is very good at alerting her foster parents when the mail or packages arrive. Both foster parents work from home and she is with one of them all day with hardly any outbursts. Her prey drive is normal for a GSD. She watches the birds but wants to chase the bunnies.
She would do best with a person who has handled GSD’s before. Tali can be pretty reactive to other dogs but does seem to want to play with some. Being the only dog in the home would be best for her.

Good obedience, including recall
Loves to sit near her people but not a snuggler. Loves pets
Knows fetch but prefers tug
LOVES all toys. She pulls them all out, but really likes spiky balls
Great with all people and every kid she has met
She is VERY strong. She needs a handler who knows classic GSD behavior and is ready to lead Tali has been in our program for two years. She is extremely dog selective - mostly just doesn’t like other dogs but she’s quite fond of puppies. Tali deserves a home. She’s gorgeous and very sweet. She has fantastic obedience. She can actually be around other dogs, on leash of course, with minimal reaction up to 30 feet away. Her foster parents have worked with her a lot and she has progressed quite a bit! We are looking for HER people. Dogs like Tali are sooo hard to place. Help us find her the home she deserves! She is fostered in the Troy IL area.
