Meet Taco

Meet Taco – Your Playful, Goofy Adventure Buddy!

Taco is a handsome 10-month-old pup full of personality and puppy charm! He’s neutered and up to date on all vaccinations.

He’s a floppy, silly sweetheart who loves to play and make you laugh. Taco is house trained with only the occasional accident and is learning to feel more comfortable in his crate. He might fuss a little at first but settles down nicely.

One of his favorite things to do is ride in the car—especially in the front seat where he can see everything! He’s also a dog park regular, getting along well with other pups. He’s playful, social, and knows when to be submissive if another dog gets grumpy.

Taco loves his toys—especially his Angus bull plushie that squeaks! Every night he plays with it before bedtime, which is just as adorable as it sounds. He’s also a big fan of chew toys (and yes, a few household items have fallen victim to those puppy teeth, but with age and training, he’ll grow out of it).

He’s working on his leash manners—he’s strong and tends to pull, but a gentle lead collar helps. He may throw in some dramatic “play dead” moments when he doesn’t want to wear it!

He absolutely loves water and will splash around in the paddling pool at the park. He can sometimes “talk back” when corrected, showing off his funny teenage-dog attitude.

Taco is very cute, with beautiful eyes and one ear that always sticks up, adding to his irresistible charm. Because of his energy and strength, he’d do best in a home without very young children, though he’d be great with teens. He’s not too sure about cats—he wants to play, but not all cats share his enthusiasm.

He has medium to high energy and will thrive with someone who can give him structure, attention, and love. He’s eager to please and treat-motivated, making him a great candidate for further training.

Taco is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, and is available for transport to approved adopters. His adoption fee is $600, and out-of-state transport is available for $350.

If you’re looking for a loving, goofy, and loyal companion to share adventures (and plenty of laughs) with, Taco might be the perfect match for you!
