Taco Beagle & Dachshund Mix Spring Hill, TN

Our special boy, partially deaf Taco is ready for his furever home! We are guessing Taco is a 7-8 yrs old, a beagle/doxie mix, about 22lbs and the biggest lover on the planet!

If you are looking for a dog to be your constant companion, lay on your lap, follow you everywhere, and just love you more than anything in the world, Taco is your pup! Everyone that meets Taco just falls in love with him and his loving big personality.

Taco gets attached to women very easily & would love to be on top of them 24/7, but this means that he can get separation anxiety when his mama is gone which causes him to bark. Taco has a quiet bark, but not quiet enough for apt living.

Taco is also an adorable trip hazard as he likes to be everywhere his people are and sometimes randomly falls down in front of people for belly rubs. Taco’s foster parents have been working with Taco on both these issues and he is getting better with time. His separation anxiety is much better when his foster brother is around so Taco can use as a security blanket/pillow when his human parents are away.

Taco is special in a lot of ways, but his special needs are that he has hearing loss and some tummy issues. His stomach issues come and go. Right now, he is doing great with regular dog food and allergy medicine, but due to his occasional mischievous ways, Taco gets into things and his stomach will flare up.

Taco is dog & cat friendly, but is oblivious when it comes to pup social cues and personal bubbles, so he would need fur siblings that don't mind Taco using them as dog beds, stepping stools, etc.

Taco’s ideal home would be one where someone is home a lot of the time, someone that wants a constant companion/cuddle bug, and a low key home environment where he gets to play a little and rest a lot.
