This handsome 47 pound 6-7 year old, affectionate pup is looking for a loving home where he can thrive and be the loyal companion he was meant to be. Here's everything you need to know about him:

Housebroken, Leash & Kennel Trained: He's already mastered the basics and is ready to settle into his new home with ease.

Loves Cuddling & TV Time: When he's not playing outside, he enjoys curling up and watching TV with you. A true couch buddy!

Quiet Indoors, Active Outdoors: He’s calm and quiet indoors, but once he’s outside, he’s full of energy and loves running around. He will bark at passersby, but only to alert you to their presence.

Protective & Dominant: He’s a protector at heart, especially when it comes to unfamiliar people. He’ll make sure you’re safe, but he can be a bit dominant at times.

Yard Lover: He loves spending time outdoors, but he’s a bit picky about the weather. He prefers moderate temperatures and won’t stay outside too long if it’s too hot or too cold. A yard is a must so he can get his energy out.

Nail Care: He’s a bit sensitive when it comes to trimming his nails but walking outside on the sidewalk naturally helps keep them in check.

Leash & Collar: He’s okay with the leash, but doesn’t like being grabbed or pulled by his collar. He’s great on walks once the leash is on.

Bath Time: He enjoys baths but needs a little reassurance before getting in. A quick show of what’s coming, and he’s good to go.

Diet: No food allergies here! He’s been on a grain-free salmon and sweet potato diet from Costco and does well with it. He is a little protective of his food and prefers not to share.

Commands He Knows: He’s got quite the repertoire! He responds to: “Let’s go outside,” “Go inside,” “Bedtime,” “Go to your bed,” “Go to your kennel,” “Down,” “Off,” “Let go eat,” “No,” “Go lie down,” “Bad boy,” “Good boy,” and “Treat time.”

Special Comforts: He loves a little pillow to rest his head on in his bed or kennel, and his favorite toys are a small stuffed rabbit and hamster.

Poolside Pup: While he doesn’t swim, he absolutely loves lounging by the pool, sitting in the shallow end, and keeping an eye on the action.

Social Butterfly: He’s the happiest when company comes over, as long as he’s had time to get to know them. Once he’s comfortable, he’ll be the best host!
