Sylvie’s babies Dachshund & Chihuahua Mix Succasunna, NJ

Dolly, Holly and Goldie are ready to find their “Forever Homes.” They are approximately 11-12 weeks old and are adorable little Chiweenies (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix).

They arrived from VA with their sweet Mama Sylvie on 4/27. Sylvie has been the best Mom to her puppies. She nursed them right up until 1 week ago.
It was like she knew they were tiny and needed extra nourishment from her. Like most Chihuahua’s they tend to get a little nervous and shake at new situations and people but
warm up very quickly. They love nothing more than to be held and cuddled. They are the ultimate “lap puppies”. The only time their Foster Mom has heard them bark is if they encounter
dogs that they have never met before (at adoption events).

They have no issues with the other dogs (6) in their Foster Home that range from big to small. They are very curious about the resident cat but since he is twice their size
they keep their distance.

They are presently paper trained and have just been introduced to going outside to run and play in their Foster Home’s fenced in yard.
Because of their tiny size they just received their first vaccination 2 weeks ago so their outside time has been limited.
All three girls are presently almost 7 lbs. We don’t expect them to be more than 10-15 lbs full grown but that is just an educated guess.
Because of their tiny stature we do not recommend homes with children under 7-8 years old.

Dolly and Holly are definitely more out-going than their sister Goldie. Goldie is the Nervous Nellie of the three but once she warms up to you she is the sweetest little girl.
