Swiper's Story
Swiper is incredibly timid and needs a human that will be patient with him. He can open up given enough time and some furry friends who can show him how to dog. He is still shy right now around people but is slowly acclimating to new environments and opening up. Right now, he spends most of his time in his crate but he'll come out to explore a few times a day and try to interact with any doggie friends that are available. He's still fearful of humans and will run away and retreat to his crate if you try to pet him or speak to him, but he will come up close to you of his own accord when exploring. He seems to feel safest when he's by himself in his room - he currently has his own dedicated bedroom with his crate/food/toys setup - and that's where he'll be most often seen acting like a silly puppy; throwing toys around and prancing around the room.
