Meet Sweety
Meet Sweety! Sweety is about 2 years old, 23 lbs, and looks like she has some MinPin in her mix. Sweety came to us after her elderly owner was no longer able to care for her. Sweety is working on her house-training and is not used to being in a crate. She walks well on leash, rides in the car, and loves to snuggle with her people. She would be fine in a home with respectful kids, other dogs and/or cats.
Her fosters say, "When we met Sweety at the shelter, she was so very happy that we were taking her out of the crate. I was amazed at how well she walked on a leash. She couldn't wait to get outside and sniff and potty. She was with three of us that she didn't know and was great with us all! My granddaughter and I went to get photos of her and she was perfect! She let us handle
her and put her on the bench and really liked the squeaky toy and my funny noises. Sweety is a survivor and will do fine where ever she is. She is a great little size and is just a happy easy to adapt doggie!"
She is available for adoption with an approved adopter in N. Dartmouth, MA on June 25th. Please fill out an application at www.browndogcoalition.com/adoption as a first step.
- Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, financial, and emotional responsibilities of a puppy/dog BEFORE applying to adopt.
- Our adoption process has been adapted for social distancing and the majority of our dogs are unavailable for meet and greets at this time. Please fill out an application, and we will explain that dog's process as needed.
- Puppies/dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.
- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fee can be found at browndogcoalition.com
