1 year old female Heeler mix
Sweetie is a darling gal who was found as a stray in Star Valley but never claimed. She is on the bigger side for a Heeler, around 50 lbs, and loves to play with other dogs. She wiggles her butt so hard when she meets new people! Heelers are active dogs and she will need a family that can get her lots of exercise and playtime. Come meet her soon and make her your new best friend!

Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.

-We require potential adopters to foster a dog for at least one night prior to adopting once they have an approved application submitted.
-We welcome out-of-area adopters, but please be aware we do require prospective adopters to come to our facility and meet the animal in person. You may either foster the dog locally in pet friendly lodging (preferably with any other dogs you own) or if you choose to drive the dog back home you agree to drive the dog back to Jackson if the dog isn't a good fit. Before you make the trip we encourage you to fill out an adoption application and submit it, to be sure you will qualify to adopt. Adoption applications can be filled out on our website. We cannot "hold" any animal. We have a "first qualified adopter can foster first" policy.
-We will not ship animals.
