SUSIE - sweet as a honey bee Hound & Beagle Mix Levittown, PA

Please meet Susie! This darling girl, her three siblings were all rescued along soon after their birth. Unfortunately, the little family landed in a foster situation unequipped to handle newborn puppies and, sadly, two of the babies did not survive. Susie and her brother were placed in an experienced foster home where they have been receiving lots of TLC and are thriving while waiting for their forever homes.

Susie is about 12 months old and weighs in at 46 pounds...every ounce sweet as can be. Mom was a beagle/hound mix and dad was traveling mystery man. We call them "Heinz 57" pups....the best kind. Susie is house trained and will stand by the door when she needs to go out. She also has an outside kennel and happily goes in and out when asked. She needs a little help with leash training, but this smart, treat-driven girl wants to please so she'll get the hang of that quickly. She knows several basic commands.

Susie is also fostered with two small dogs and gets along fine. She understands how to play respectfully with them. There is a cat in the foster home and she's okay around him. Like all pups, she can be curious and playful so cats but would be fine with a dog savvy kitty in her forever home. She has not been fostered with children but with her sweet nature, we think a family with kids above toddler age would be fine.

Susie has been spayed, micro-chipped and is up to date with vaccinations. She's also on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Her doggy bag is packed and she's ready to head for her forever home. If you'd like to give this delightful, sweet affectionate girl her happily ever after she will make a wonderful family companion.
