Meet Susie

Sweet Susie is a 3 year old, Tree Walking Coonhound available for adoption. Susie weighs 49lbs and was transfered in from a partner rescue. She is a sweet by shy girl who loves to sit will you and soak up lots of pets. While she has not been dog tested, Susie loves to visit other dogs at their kennels. Her gentle nature would be great for anyone looking for a loyal companion.

No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption.

If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.

Upon visiting FAPL, if you don’t see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
