Meet Sushi
Our adoption application can be found at the bottom of this pet's bio. Once your application has been approved, we can arrange a virtual meet & greet with you and Sushi!
Sushi is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up!
Meet Sushi!
Sushi is currently 4 months old (as of 9/1/23). He is fully vaccinated & microchipped! Miso will be adopted out on a neuter contract and neutered at the age of 6 months.
Sushi and his siblings were found as strays on a very hot day. There was not any momma dog or puppy daddy around, but we DNA tested one of the puppies and they are 89% pittie and 11% supermutt! Our vet doesn't think they'll grow to be large breed pups and estimated they would be around 50 pounds or less, but again, we can never be sure.
Sushi is so young that he is super friendly with everyone that he meets! Cats, dogs & kids! Sushi currently lives with other dogs and kids in his current foster home (ages 1 year - 8 years).
Sushi's foster family describes him as playful, sweet, cuddly, curious, loving, snuggly and SASSY! This whole litter is full of personality!
Sushi is not quite potty trained at this point and we'll be looking for a patient family who will continue to work with him on potty training. Sushi is crate trained and does well in the crate when he's in there. His foster family is working on training him with puppy pads at this time.
Like most puppies, Sushi is playful & affectionate. He loves curling up on your lap and getting his puppy snuggles in while catching some zzz's but also loves to run around and play!
Sushi would love a fully fenced yard or an active family as he (and most puppies) have puppy energy he'll need to burn off. All of our puppies under the age of 1 year old are required to attend some form of puppy obedience classes / training with their new adoptive family.
Sushi is your typical puppy and loves running and playing with his puppy siblings, so another pet in the home would be great, but isn't necessary.
