Meet Surf

Surf is an 18 month old hound mix that has been friendly with people and dogs he’s met while with us.
He is 100% treat motivated, knows sit, he’s quite energetic but walks easily with some guidance. He does sniff in his surroundings on walks and birds, leaves, and squirrels definitely perk up his interest! He loves playing fetch in the yard and runs around happily with a toy.
Of course, he will need guidance, structure and consistency once in a home setting to improve his manners so we have sponsored him with funds for some training with his new family.
Surf has some long legs, and a tall athletic lanky body that makes it very easy for him to hop over a low fence so adopters should be ready to keep him safe/on leash while he’s learning his new home.
