Sunshine comes from a puppy mill breeder who has now closed its doors, and everything about living in a home is completely new to her. She's still learning how to be a dog and how to trust humans, so she may be a bit shy at first. Sunshine is too scared to approach you on her own, but she will sit on the couch if you gently place her there. With time, she's showing small signs of progress, and with patience, she'll begin to learn how to feel safe and comfortable in her new surroundings.

Sunshine will need a very patient, understanding home where she can continue her journey toward confidence. She's still figuring out how to interact with people, but she's making strides. Sunshine would thrive in a home with a secure, fenced yard and another dog to show her the ropes. A companion dog would be especially helpful to help her feel more comfortable and confident in her new life.
