Meet Sunshine
Sunny is a happy, calm and gentle dog with the most beautiful face and smile. Sunny loves to find the perfect spot to sleep and snuggle, including a cold floor on a hot summer day. She’s very docile when she is by herself, and she plays really well with other dogs.
Sunny is housebroken, leash trained, and loves treats. She knows how to sit and is learning to go in her crate (although she sometimes needs a couple of treats to convince her to go in). Once she’s in her crate though, she quickly gets comfortable and quiet.
She sleeps outside of the crate at night in her little dog bed, but sometimes goes in the crate on her own as well. She’ll bark when she wakes up letting you know she needs to go potty, and sometimes barks just to get your attention (although she’s also learning to use her inside voice).
She gets a little nervous during storms, but will happily find cover under the bed or in her crate to feel safe. Sunny is also great at the coffee shop and the park.
She is about 27 pounds, around 5 years old, a scruffy terrier mix, heartworm positive and started on slow treatment. Sunny is now vaccinated, spayed, chipped and healthy.
