Meet Sunny
Hi. I’m Sunny - and I am a sweetheart. I am a 1-1/2 year old female lab mix and I weigh about 64 lbs I had a bit of a rough start but am living in a wonderful foster home now.
Last December I was fending for myself- eating at community cat feeding stations just to survive. Guess that’s why I get along with cats - they shared with me. I was shy and elusive. Fortunately, some nearby residents befriended me and even had me spayed and tested and gave me my shots. They also have me on flea, tick and heartworm prevention - which is especially important where I am currently fostered— in southern Missouri where mosquitos are so prevalent. Mosquitos spread heartworm.
Now I am ready for the next step — my own home.
I am still a bit shy but I am trusting humans more every day. I am potty trained and walk in a leash. I get along with everyone — kids, adults, cats and dogs. And some people say I am as beautiful on the inside as I am on the outside.
If you want to know more about me, contact Robin at Pink Hearts Animal Rescue in Kansas City , Mo.
816-507-3488 or at zeplinrobin@gmail.com. As I mentioned earlier, I am currently being fostered in southern Mo. But there are people willing to get me where I would be wanted.
Just so you know, Pink Hearts makes sure they find just the right people for me by talking with you, calling your vet ‘s office for a reference and doing a personal home visit.
I am so excited to meet you! My adoption fee is $125.
Thanks for caring.
