Sunny is a 4-5 month old Great Pyrenees male pup that weighs 45.4 pounds, he is cream colored with orange patches. We are unsure if he is a mix as we do not know his parents but he sure is a big boy and looks to have a lot of
this guardian type breed in him. Sunny is with other dogs, another Pyrenees and a JRT that he gets along great with and wants to play, he is also with cats, he is curious and takes his time with. He is also being fostered with chickens and does great with them as well.
He will follow the other Pyrenees lead...Sunny is with a 3 year old and a 6 year old child as well and is calm with both of them. He is currently an outside dog in a fenced yard with other dogs for company and we believe he will do well with a family that has a small farm
and will invite him indoors too. He knows SIT and COME and walks well on a leash, he has been getting exposure to family and has a good start to his puppy socializing, he is shy at first and will warm up as most pups do. He allows brushing and bathing and will jump up with excitement, we are working on this.

An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time. We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the foster. If a pet has 'pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through. Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
