Sunkist Pit Bull Terrier Mix Denver, CO

Hi there! My name is Sunkist and I'm a very beautiful, petite, 1 year-old, pit-bull mix. I came to MaxFund as a stray- and very pregnant! I had all my babies here, and I was a very good mama but now all my pups have been adopted and I'm looking forward to my forever family.

I had a hard time adjusting to life after motherhood and was reactive around other dogs. I have been working very hard and diligently with my trainer and I'm doing so much better now! I still don’t think I can have any brothers or sisters in my new home, but it’s definitely something you can ask my trainer about! I love to play fetch and do zoomies here in the yard- I even bring the ball back to you! I love squeaky toys and am treat-motivated, so there are a lot of different options for appraisal in my training!

I would love to go to a mellow home where we can go on hikes, walks, and of course, don't forget the cuddles. I need a family who is going to continue my training! I do not know how I am with young kids because I haven’t been around them; but I had puppies- they aren’t that much different, right? I'm not sure how I feel about cats, but my trainer can always take me for a cat test.

I'd love to find my furever home in 2023. Will you be mine?!
