Sully is a goof! His most favorite thing to do is to run endlessly outside chasing ANYTHING that flies. His foster mom has a friend who is a behaviorist and she said "his heart beats instinctively with the need to locate birds, bugs and other small creatures." He's even been known to chase after the occasional plastic bag blowing in the wind.

Not only has Sully been blessed with stunning good looks but he is also such an incredibly loving and goofy boy. Sully started his life in an inner city apartment with a young couple who did not know the needs of a bird dog. Because of this, he has not been given the opportunity to reach his full potential. Sully turned 2 this Christmas, but hasn't had any formal training. He will need a home that will be dedicated to providing him lots of structure and boundaries. In addition, he will need a home with a large fenced in yard (physical fence is a must). He is happiest when he is allowed to run outside for hours on end. He has never been trained to hunt but his trainer described him as very "drivey" and could possibly excel as a hunting buddy with formal training.

His foster mom says that even though Sully isn't a very snuggly setter he is VERY affectionate. He loves to be with his people and will shower them with hugs and kisses. He will also sit by or on your feet and nap if you work from home.

Sully is protective of his personal space (especially the couch) but only at night after a long day of doggie daycare. He would do well with a routine bedtime and loves to curl up in his crate with a few treats and some toys. Sully is a very happy boy!
