Suki's Story

Suki is a beautiful 3-year-old Great Dane located in Cedar City, Utah, and she’s as loving and gentle as they come. Weighing about 85 pounds, she was originally adopted from the St. George shelter and enjoyed life on a farm, but her owner had to move back home to help family. Unfortunately, the household has allergies, multiple dogs, and very limited space, making it impossible for Suki to stay. This rehome is truly out of necessity, not because of any fault of hers.

Suki is wonderfully social and affectionate. She’s great with men, women, and children, and she loves other dogs. When new people walk into the home, her first instinct is pure enthusiasm—she tries to jump up and be everyone’s best friend. Her temperament is balanced and steady, with just a touch of nervousness around brand-new experiences, and she blossoms with reassurance and routine.

She’s a smart, well-mannered girl who is potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained, and she knows commands like “sit,” “crate,” and “bed.” When left alone, she settles beautifully in her crate. She enjoys spending time in the yard and playing with other dogs, and with her high energy level, she’ll thrive in a home where she can stretch her long legs, explore, and enjoy daily activity.

Suki is also an incredibly affectionate dog with a signature quirk—she will sit politely and let you rub her jowls forever. It’s one of her favorite bonding moments, and she leans in with her whole heart. She is spayed and microchipped but does need her rabies vaccine updated.

This sweet girl will do best in a home with a large yard, plenty of room to move, and a family who appreciates a big dog with an even bigger heart. Suki is devoted, joyful, and ready to be someone’s constant companion. If you’re interested, go to diggs4dogs.com and fill out an application.
