Meet Sugar Cookie! This incredibly sweet girl is almost 2 years old (possibly older) & a Hound/Lab mix.

Sugar Cookie came to Hopeful Tails the beginning of March, and has been waiting patiently to find her forever home. Sugar Cookie waits everyday to meet her family. She will give you ALL the love in the world plus more! Sadly Sugar Cookie has had an extremely rough start to her young life. She was shot by BB’s multiple times, and the proof is all over her poor body - scars covering her legs, her side and a spot on her face. Even though Sugar Cookie has been failed by humans she absolutely loves everyone she meets! From kids to other dogs!

Our snuggle bug’s adoption fee is $300 which includes her spay, microchip, fecal exam, and shots up to date.

Note:
All dogs require a $100 training deposit. Once confirmation of the completion of a training class has been sent to the rescue, you will receive your deposit back in full.

As we are a rescue all of our adult dogs/puppies for adoption must be spayed or neutered. Although we make every attempt to have this done before finding their adoptive families, this is not always possible. Please speak with your adoption coordinator to see of this service has already been performed or they will explain to you if your new dog/puppy will need this service while in your care at no cost to you.

When emailing please include your phone number to help speed up the adoption process. Also, for the safety of our dogs we only adopt within a 2 hour radius of Joliet, Illinois, to allow our volunteers to do home checks if necessary.
