Suga Baer Shetland Sheepdog / Sheltie & Terrier Mix Belleville, NJ

Meet Suga Baer! Suga is about three months old and 8 pounds. She’s going to remain small maybe 15 to 20 pounds. It’s hard to tell what breed sugar is but we think probably a small sheltie and terrier mix, like rat terrier or fox terrier. Suga is a happy, sweet and active, playful puppy! There’s nothing she doesn’t love. Her foster home is full of small dogs and she loves to play with all of them. She absolutely adores her toys and will take them to bed with her. She is doing great on her house training, using the doggie door to go outside. She also has Potty Pads available and does well there also. She will need help on a leash to make walks exciting and fun, since her foster mom isn’t able to take her on walks. Suga is very smart and a very quick learner!

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Suga.

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
