MY STORY:

10/7 Update on Stuart:

-housebroken
-sleeps on dog bed quietly in our room
-friendly with people and dogs (would be best to have a sibling of similar size or be a solo dog)
-walks well on a leash
-crate trained
-food motivated, takes treats gently
-likes toys, especially stuffies
-knows “sit” and comes when called
-does not mind being brushed
-loves to snuggle or lay near his humans
-sweet and happy disposition
-confident



Oh Stewie I love you. He is the bestest boy. I love the tuft of hair on his head and have no idea what breed he is. When you go to put his harness on he just falls over for pets. He is a big boy, but thicker rather than taller. Everyone has fallen in love with him. He walks just fine on a leash, and looks at you with his endearing eyes.

This rump roast is the best! Here’s what we’ve learned about Stuart today:
? has done all of his business outside
? minimal/low shedding
? loves people and dogs (would be best to have a sibling of similar size…also would be fine as a solo dog)
? walks beautifully on a leash and is non-reactive to traffic, dogs, people
? food motivated and takes treats gently
? gives kisses, but isn’t a crazy licker
? is fine with being in a crate
? seeks out pets and snuggles
? enjoys a nap on the couch or at your feet…or with his big head on your lap ?
? able to touch his paws, ears, tail with no reactivity
? a chill, happy, loving guy


ADOPTION FEE: $750

To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION.

Adopters must be 24 years of age. We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN. Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.
