Let me introduce you to Mr. Handsome. AKA Stuart. Don't let his sleek grey coat, soft floppy ears, and stunning hazel eyes distract you. Stuart may look like a striking, refined, four-year-old large dog mix, but really, he's a big goofball. Stuart thinks he fits in any lap, and he doesn't feel shame if some of his endearing mouth slime gets on your slacks. He is very smart, wants to please, and would do well in an active home with an experienced adopter or family.

Because Stuart is a large dog with the heart of an energetic lap puppy, he would be great with older children and bigger dogs. Stuart can be nervous in new surroundings, crowded places, and with new people; however, he worked hard on this at training and made great strides. He has had the opportunity to work with his foster family in these areas to create positive associations. In return, he has rewarded his foster family with endless belly rubs, offering his paw for a shake, and numerous laughs. Having completed a training program, Stuart knows all the basic commands and is crate, house, and leash trained. He is neutered, current on all his shots, and microchipped.
