As a beagle, dachshund, chi mix, she’s pretty sassy and likes to be the boss. She and the other dog in the home were mostly fine, but every once in a while there was an issue and Strawberry was deemed
T-R-O-U-B-L-E.
Since being in foster, she’s shown her sass but is managed around the other dogs and has not had behaviors escalate. There is DEFINITE potential for the sass to rear its ugly head at any moment so please don’t apply if you’ve got other dogs and want them all to co-exist with little management and structure.
Strawberry loves people including respectful children but will only be placed with children over 10 as she’s only lived a brief time with dog-savvy pre-teen and teenage children.
She would ADORE a home where she could be the center of someone’s world. She likes walks, adventures, snuggling, and enrichment activities.
Strawberry has always been crated while people were away from the home but since being in foster she’s become quite vocal about her disproval with crating so apartment/condo/townhouses are not recommended.
She’s 2 years old and 13 lbs of whiskery cuteness!
