Who doesn't love a good Storm? We sure do! Storm is an 8-month-old mixed breed pup, who is full of energy and bursting with curiosity. He came to HAP from a high-intake shelter partner in Louisiana when they no longer had space for him. Despite being in the shelter, Storm knows how to entertain himself. You'll often find him happily tossing his toys in his kennel and chasing after them outside with pure joy. With his outgoing personality and sharp mind, Storm is incredibly food-motivated-so the sky's the limit when it comes to training this clever boy! Storm has made a few doggy friends and is working on his manners with other pups, as he is so excited to play! He would do best with a patient pup that can help him learn. Due to his enthusiastic nature, he'd do best in a home with dog-savvy kids or older children. If you're looking for a bright, active, fun-loving pup to share all of life's adventures, Storm might just be the perfect match for you!

If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
