Meet Stitch!

Stitch is also 13 months old (approx. DOB 6-1-22 ), male, 45 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and micro-chipped.
Stitch was chained inside of a closet at a motel in SC for at least 1 week with no food or water, covered in urine. He was emaciated. The day he was to take a walk down the hall to be put down in an overcrowded shelter...........instead we rescued him and he took a freedom walk out the door to a new life! Stitch is an adorable and gentle pup who will surely steal your heart. Although he may be young, Stitch has already faced some challenges in his short life. Stitch has low to medium, is good with other dogs, and may be cats. He enjoys a good play session but is also content to curl up on the couch with you and enjoy some quiet time and is an absolute cuddle bug who adores receiving love. He thrives on human affection and will happily snuggle up close to you, melting away any stress or worries. Once he feels comfortable and secure, his sweet and gentle nature shines through. He is known for his talkative side, using a range of adorable noises and grumbles to communicate his needs and emotions. Despite his shyness, he is incredibly polite and well-mannered, always eager to please and follow instructions! Stay tuned for more information as Stitch is a new rescue!

Disclosure:
Breed labels are often incorrect: we rarely know the genetic lineage of the dogs we rescue. Many shelters and rescues specify breeds based on appearance; however, research has shown that less than 2% of a dog's DNA determines appearance!
Passion 4 Paws does not practice the use of labels pertaining to compatibility with others or dog breed. Labels such as "dog friendly" and "child friendly" should be used with caution as they often over-simplify the personalities and behavior of dogs.
