Stitch Pit Bull Terrier & Belgian Shepherd / Malinois Mix Mokena, IL

Meet Stitch! Stitch is around 2.5 years old, and a pitbull mix. He is a fun and outgoing pup! Stitch has had a rough life! Him and his sister came to us from a hoarding situation initially and then he was adopted and lived in a home for almost a whole year! He was returned not long ago due to the fact that the prior family decided they’d like to move somewhere that doesn’t allow pets! So now Stitch is back and he is looking for his real forever! He loves going on walks, playing with his toys, and attending adoption events! He loves children and gets along with dogs although would need a slow introduction. He would make the perfect furry family member!

The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
