Think you and I might be a match?

Meet Stitch (Fostered in Lincoln)

My name is Stitch and I am an 8 year old, 85 lb, German Shepherd. Don't let my age fool you though because I am a happy outgoing boy who loves his toys and hoomans. I am a really laid back and easy going guy and am very friendly and loveable. I was abandoned and ended up in a high kill shelter but I don't let my past get me down. I always have my goofy smile on my face. I have the beginnings of hip dysplasia and renal disease so we don't know my lifespan ahead but I am currently having no issues with either. (Dogs with renal disease can live several years so Stitch could still have his full lifespan ahead of him). Despite my health challenges, I would be a great companion to my hooman family. My leash manners and potty training are a great plus. I ride great in the car and love car rides too! If you think we would be a good match please follow the instructions below to meet me! I require a house for a home and not an apartment.

Pros: -I am good with other medium/large dogs -I love my toys -I do well on walks/ a leash -I am potty trained -I get super excited when I see a leash as I think it means walk and I LOVE those! -I got to see my first snow in the awesome state of Nebraska and I love to eat snow -I love to sunbathe and just chill in the yard -I am a big snuggle bug -I have a big goofy smile on my face always -I REALLY know the word NO and will listen to whatever you want me to stop doing -Pro nap taker -LOVE car rides Cons: -I am not the most coordinated on wood floors (foster mom has them but she has to tell me to take it easy on slick surfaces. (Carpet would be a better fit for me.)
-I am not a cat guy. I get too infatuated and try to squeak them when mom isn't watching -Due to my lack of coordination mom says no young humans under age 12 (I am very friendly but mom says my size and slip and slide technique with the littles don't go together)
-I try to eat toys, therefore foster mom sticks to durable rubber type kongs and bones versus stuffies and ropes. -I am a drama queen, I cry and go to my hooman for cuddles if my feelings get hurt. Once I smacked my head on the couch from sneezing and I whimpered and faked severe injury -If I get in trouble I drop to th ground and play dead or fake injury to get out of my actions LOL

Stitch is fostered in Lincoln and cannot be viewed at the shelter in Papillion. The adoption fee is $300 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures.
