Stitch Bull Terrier & Pit Bull Terrier Mix San Diego, CA

Hello everyone! I’m an adorable and handsome 9 year-old Bull Terrier/Pit mix named Stitch and I’m in need of a new home. My previous family was going to have me euthanized, but the wonderful people at Passion For Pitties were so kind to save me and now I spend my days with my lovely foster mom.

Such a sweetheart and I absolutely LOVE people! My favorite activity is snuggling up next to my humans on the couch and am a master at it – despite having no concept of personal space. Will curl up next to or on top of any person! Unfortunately, my previous family had a baby about a year ago and the baby’s behavior has made me increasingly anxious, leading them to make the difficult decision of finding another home for me. I’m great with older kids, but due to the impulsivity of young children, a home with kids aged 10 and older would be best.

Enjoy lounging in the sun, going for walks and am very food motivated! Know all the basic commands and am potty/crate-trained. Although I have some separation anxiety, I do not exhibit destructive behavior and am fine with staying in my crate. Although I have lived with a Jack Russell since 2012 in a largely peaceful coexistence, would be best to be the only pet in the home at this time, as I often react to other animals. A strong and experienced owner that has an active lifestyle to give me the proper exercise I need would ideal. With the right leadership and proper training, my new owner can help me overcome my issues to become the best dog ever. Unfortunately, I just didn’t get that with my previous family.
