Stevie (In Foster) Chihuahua & Pomeranian Mix New Orleans, LA

Stevie, named after Stevie Wonder, is a sweet and lovable dog. He is believed to be a chihuahua/pomeranian mix. He is super smart and if you did not know he was blind you might not believe it! He finds his way around his foster home easily, and always seems to know if you are heading to the sofa and beats you there! His absolute favorite thing in the world is snuggling. He plays with the other smaller foster puppy, but his main goal in life is to be the absolute best cuddle bug! Because he is blind he prefers smaller or calmer dogs. He is in a home with dogs from small to large, but since he is blind an excitable larger puppy would probably not be a good match. He is believed to be about 5-7 years old. **Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment with an approved application. One of ARNO's volunteer adoption counselors will be in contact with you to notify you of your approval status as well as arrange an appointment.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs:

Puppies under 6 months - $300
Adult dogs (6 months - 7 years) - $250
Seniors (8 years and older) - $200
Cats:

Adults (1 year and older) - 1 for $85 / 2 for $125
Kittens (under 1 year) - 1 for $125 / 2 for $150

For all animals that have not been spayed or neutered a $100 deposit will be required in addition to the adoption fee. The deposit is refundable upon completion of the spay / neuter surgery.
