Meet Stevie!

On January 17th, this pretty girl was found tied to a tree and no one seemed to be missing her.

Stevie is a lovable and playful girl, loves attention and knows some commands! She's definitely a mixed breed and we think she is a Pitbull / Husky mix!... I mean, look at those ears!

Stevie gets along with other dogs and loves to play fetch. With other dogs, she can play a bit rough at times but doesn't mean harm. Stevie will sometimes bark at outside cats but we're unsure how she would do living with one.

She is about 2-3 yrs old, 58 lbs, and appropriately named after Stevie Nicks because she has a beautiful voice (talking/howling)...that's where the Husky part comes in! She does this when she wants your attention.

Stevie's previous foster mom says she is very playful, loyal and people oriented. She is mostly play and companionship motivated and can be considered a bit "clingy" and follows you around the house. Although she likes to play, she also enjoys taking naps and resting with you on the couch. She is very smart and understands her name and when she's being told "no". She could still use some basic training on commands. Stevie is not destructive in the home and sticks to playing with her toys.

Stevie still needs some house training. She still has accidents inside but once she is on a schedule and familiar in the home, she gets the hang of it. She needs an active family or one with a yard to run around and play. She is an active girl and needs to be stimulated, physically and mentally. She needs a secure yard or will try and find a way out.

Stevie is spayed, vaccinated, and healthy. She is located in Pembroke Pines, FL; you must be willing to travel here, we do not transport.
