Meet Stevie
First, I want to thank each of you that donate! This is what happens when we all work together for these dogs. Good nutrition, time, training, and of course lots of love …. it’s all good for the soul!

Stevie was rescued along with three other adult female Akitas out of the Lancaster PA area from dog farmers who no longer had any use for them. When these girls came to us they where worn, used up, and honestly looked the part. It’s rare to get one of these dogs out in decent shape.
Back to Stevie! Today she has a beautiful plush coat, has gained weight, and confidence. She now knows how to sit and walk on leash. She was a dream to groom also. She is actually pretty darn large dog tolerant. I did cat test her and she has a prey drive, so no small dogs no small animals.
This is a nice big, laid back, gentle soul who still loves and trusts people. Come meet this gem! She is finally ready to shine her way into your heart.
