Stellaluna Chocolate Labrador Retriever Mix Springfield, MO

When someone mentions "ball," my ears perk up, and I'm ready to soar through the air after it! My name is Stellaluna and I am a two and a half year old, 50 pound beautiful chocolate lab. Named after the beloved little brown bat from the book, I have a passion for flying after balls just like my namesake. In addition to being house, crate, and leash trained, I'm known for my sweetness, intelligence, and eagerness to please. Learning new skills is a piece of cake for me! I've already mastered commands like sit and fetch, and I'll even bring the ball back and place it right in your hand. My repertoire also includes sit, down, come, kennel, wait, and lay down. While I do well with other dogs, my main focus is on my person. I can be a little cautious with new people, but once I warm up to you, I'm a big love! I'm great with older, calm, and respectful children (12 and up) but the high-energy little ones are a bit overwhelming for me. As for cats, I have a strong interest in them, so it's best if I find a home without any feline friends.

For my forever home, a fenced yard is a must. I need space to run and play fetch to my heart's content! I'm looking for that special person or family who can be patient with me as I learn to trust fully. But let me tell you, the effort will be worth it, as I'll become a loyal, devoted, and loving companion for life!

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
