Did someone say "ball"?!

My name is Stellaluna. I was named that because, just like the little brown bat from the book, I love to FLY after balls! I am a 3-year-old, 50-ish pound, Chocolate Lab mix gal. I am slow to trust and warm up to new people. A couple of the nice people at Rescue One have gained my trust and are working on building my confidence. They say I am super sweet and super smart and am eager to please and learn new skills. I've already mastered sit, and I play fetch like a champ. I will even bring the ball back and place it right in your hand. I've almost mastered "down" too. I'm close to having house training down. I only have an occasional accident. I am learning leash skills and do well with dogs with proper introductions. I would be just fine as your only dog though. Unfortunately, I like cats a little too much, so no cats for me! My forever home needs a fenced yard for me to run play fetch in. I need a special person/family who is willing to be patient as I learn to trust. I promise that it will be worth the effort, because I will be a loyal, devoted, and loving companion. Please fill out an application to adopt me so I can start my new life in a loving home asap!

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
