Meet Stella

Female, 1.5 years old, 53 lbs

Personality: outgoing, rambunctious, affectionate, trustworthy, adaptable, brave, loyal, goofy/funny, adventurous, eager-to-please, snuggler, and playful.

Meet Stella, your future best friend! This sweet and affectionate girl has a heart full of love and a playful spirit. She loves spending time with her people, whether that's snuggling on the couch or getting a good game of fetch in. She is house trained and crate trained, and her eagerness to please makes training a dream.

Stella is full of energy and always up for an adventure, but she's also perfectly content lounging around with her humans after a fun day of exploring. She is also great with other dogs, though still learning their cues. If you're looking for a dog who is as affectionate as she is playful, Stella is the one for you!

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).

Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.

Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
