Stella is a spunky, loving, and athletic 4-year-old Shepherd/Collie mix, weighing in at 35 lbs of pure energy and affection! She has successfully completed her 10-week training program and is now ready to find her forever home.
Stella thrives in an active home without young children or cats. She is crate-trained and does well in an apartment setting—as long as she gets her daily exercise! Whether it’s hiking, playing fetch (you’ll tire out before she does!), or cuddling on the couch, Stella just loves being with her people. She’s highly treat- and praise-motivated, making her a joy to train.
To ensure a smooth transition, her adoption includes multiple handling lessons before she comes home, and we’ll be checking in to support her new family as she settles in.
The Ideal Home for Stella:
Active individuals or families (no small children)
Confident handlers who can provide leadership and structure
Empty nesters, families with older kids (middle school/high school), or individuals looking for an adventure buddy
