My name is Stella and I’m a spayed female 9 month old Italian Greyhound puppy.

I’m being fostered in Belmont, NC. I’ve had all of my vaccinations; I’m heart worm negative and on preventative, and have already been chipped.

I like to run in the yard and play fetch with my ball. I love my toys and for my foster family to play with me. I also can walk on a leash. I have learned to potty outside, but I do still have accidents. My foster mom says I’m still a baby and a routine and consistency are helping with that. I sleep in my crate, but sometimes I need to go outside to potty during the night. I can stay in my crate during the day for short periods of time. I get scared when I’m alone, so I need someone to work with me on my separation anxiety.

My foster parents say I’m very smart. I’ve learned to sit and fetch very quickly. I love treats and things to chew on. I also love to snuggle with my foster mom and I am not so afraid of my foster dad anymore. I’m just not sure of men yet. I get along with other dogs, but have a lot of puppy energy, so a younger adult IG sibling would be best.

A home without cats or young kids is preferable. I really need someone that will have the time at home to love me and teach me all those things that puppies need to know, so someone with IG experience and who works from home or has very limited hours away from home is needed.
