I'm Steele! I'm a very sweet blue heeler mix ready to find a family to take care of. Training keeps my brain busy because I'm so smart-- I've learned to sit, stay, lie down, go up and down stairs, cross the street, jump, turn, drop it, wait for my leash, and follow my owner. Agility training would be a GREAT idea for all 34 lbs of me because I love to run up ramps and through tubes. You might find me camping out under your bed sometimes! I would do best with an active owner or family, with a yard or property where I can show you how fast I am. After my exercise I'm a huge snugglebug and would love to sleep on your lap/in bed with you. I haven't lived with cats before but I would get along with dogs my size and older kids who can keep up with me. Peanut butter, squirrels, car rides, and rope toys are my weaknesses. Like all herding dogs I'm 100% loyal to my pack and ready to find my forever family.
I am neutered, heart worm neg and current on vaccines. My fee is $380.


In order to adopt one of our puppies or dogs, an application must be filled out prior to Being invited to meet the dog.

Please note that these animals in most cases are abandoned and therefore breeds and sizes are our best estimates based on years of experience. Many times we do not know the parents, so we are guessing. If you are looking for a specific breed or size maybe rescue is not for you, it is very possible you will adopt a puppy we say will be medium size and the pup may be smaller than estimated or may be larger than estimated. We do our best but many times we are wrong so please beware of this before rescuing from us.
