Staypuft Mixed Breed Woolwich, ME

Staypuft is one of our "Ghostbuster" puppies. His story, like many from AL, is a sad one. A motorist saw his dad get hit by a car and followed him back to the property. After informing the owner, who said it was "natural selection", she reached out to our rescue partners in AL. By the time they got to the property the dad, sadly, had passed away but they were able to convince the owner to give up four very emaciated puppies that were on the property. There were three more left and, with a payment of $300, he relinquished the rest of the litter. These pups were living in a dirt enclosure filled with trash. They were skin and bones and hadn't likely seen much love in their lives. Despite this, they are sweet and shy but have likely never lived in a home so will need practice with potty training, leash training, and basic socialization. We are calling them mixed breed- their Dad looked like a Yellow Lab mix and their mom is unknown. We believe they will be medium sized when full grown. They are currently in AL but will be coming to Maine at the end of the month.
