-Starsky in Maine Shepherd Mix Cherryfield, ME

Sweet old man Starsky has lost his home due to a changed family situation. He really loves people and is hoping to find a home where he can be with someone as much as possible. He likes to just hang out with people, & is very well behaved.

Starsky is 12 years old and 52 lbs., and is moderately active, with good mobility. He is good in a car. At some point, this gentle guy was bitten in the face by another dog, so he doesn't want to live with another dog. He is good on a leash, but if he sees another dog, he at first freezes and panics, and then pulls toward and barks at the other dog. This is manageable as he's not terribly strong, but he would be happier if meeting other dogs wasn't a common occurrence. We are unsure about how he would do with cats, but does seem to have a prey drive. We think he would be fine with older, respectful kids.
