At just 16 months old and 57 pounds, Starlight is living up to her name – she’s a true superstar when it comes to being lovable, smart, and eager to learn. This shepherd/hound mix quickly picked up treadmill training and several commands, showing off just how trainable she is.<br/><br/>Starlight came to Red Barn after the shelter saw her struggling with the stress of shelter life. Once she had the chance to decompress here, she blossomed. She loves stretching her legs with laps around the pasture and took to the treadmill like a fish to water! With her high energy and big brain, she thrives when given outlets to exercise and learn new things.<br/><br/>Starlight has a very sweet temperament and enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those who respect her boundaries. She’s not reactive on walks, but she’d do best with well-mannered canine friends.
