Meet Star
Certified Zoom Queen with a PhD in Fetch
Star is a 2-year-old, 32-pound Jack Russell Terrier mix who photographs way bigger than she is. In real life, she’s all lean muscle and quick feet packed into a surprisingly petite frame—and she’s got the zoomies to prove it. Her specialties include sprinting, chasing tennis balls like her life depends on it, and keeping the squirrel population on alert.
She might hang back for a minute when meeting new people, but once she decides you’re cool (usually after one treat and a quick vibe check), she’ll be zipping around like you’ve been best friends for years. She’s incredibly smart, quick to learn, and has just the right amount of sass to keep you on your toes without running the household.
Star loves other dogs with a similar play style and does best in a home with structure, patience, and someone who appreciates a good game of fetch before a nap on the couch. She’s crate trained, mostly house trained, and thrives with space to run—though she’s still working on perfecting her leash skills and understanding that “doorway” doesn’t mean “launch pad.”
This girl is all about action, affection, and being part of your routine. She shines in homes that are calm but active, with people who get that building trust with a slightly cautious pup is worth every second.
