This fun girl is a young, energetic Red Heeler mix. She walks well on a leash and has lots of energy to walk, run and play.

She does well playing with other dogs with similar energy. She does like to chase small critters so likely wont do well with cats or chickens.

Star is a sweet friendly attractive young lady so stop by and take Star for a stroll soon!


We cannot confirm that dogs who come from the shelter will be house trained.

Most adoptable dogs will need some reintroduction into a home, potty training, basic manners and social skills.

Please be prepared to provide the training and dedication that will be needed.

We do not have any way of knowing if a dog or cat will do well with all children or all other animals.

*** This is why it is important that we introduce everyone in the home to the new pet. Please plan to have the whole family come visit.

*** We also require that any family dogs come into meet your potential adoptee. Please be sure your dogs are spayed or neutered and current on vaccines (distemper - parvo and rabies) before bringing them to the shelter.

*** All dogs must be transported home in a travel crate to transport your new pup home safely.


*** Renters must provide a copy of a lease indicating pets are allowed or contact information for the landlord.
