Well hello there! Thank you for coming and reading a little about me. My name is Stanley, and I am 2 years old. I came to rescue when I was found wandering around with 3 other male dogs, and no one seemed to notice that we were missing. I have been spending some time settling into my foster home, and I am doing great! It’s unknown how long I was out wandering, but my foster mom says that I am a very grateful young man, so that’s my way of telling them that it’s been awhile since I had food and a warm bed to sleep in. I love taking naps and just being anywhere that people are. I love the company, and people seem to enjoy having me around. I get a lot of praise and love and attention, and it’s the most amazing feeling. There are cats here in my foster home, but I haven’t really interacted with them. I’ve just seen them walk by, so it’s not sure how I would do if they came close to where I could be next to them. I do great when I go out for walks on my leash, and I can let you know when I have to go outside to go potty. Being that I was outside running all the time, I am still getting used to this whole idea of a kennel. It seems like it’s a cage for punishment, but they keep reassuring me that it’s my safe place and that I’ve done nothing bad to be there. I will go in it and sleep at night and when I need to be in there, but I’m going to let you know that I am slightly disgruntled about the idea. I do settle in, but I want to let you know it’s not my favorite place to be. I have been getting to meet some new people, and I just love everyone that comes to see me. I just want to wag my tail and have them pet me. It’s the best feeling in the world to feel loved. Well, that’s about all that I got to say about myself; it’s hard when they ask to tell you about yourself, but I wanted to let you know how I was coming along.
