Meet Squishy
Meet Squishy!
As an owner surrender for not getting along with other dogs in the household, Squishy is currently in training to help him to overcome his resource-guarding behaviors. He is young, sweet and spunky, and has gotten down to a healthy weight in foster care! He is the silliest boy and charms everyone he meets with his quirky personality. He always has a smile! His confidence is growing in public settings like Lowes and Home Depot, and his favorite thing to do is "Go Say Hi!" He is currently only available for a foster-to-adopt home, and needs to be the only dog in the household. He is potty-trained and crate-trained, and knows the following commands: Sit, Down (work in progress to stay in a down), Spin, Turn, Up, Kennel, Touch, Go Say Hi, and he has a great Bed Stay. He now knows to back away from his food dish when anyone approaches, and to wait until "Break" or "Yes." He has loved every human he has met, and is particularly fond of kids.
